Farm House Updates

Spring is in the air here @ Tamarack Farmstead!

A perfect time to talk about what we did with our time here this winter…

Besides working feverishly to open our Brewery in Amesbury (www.brewerysilvaticus.com), Caroline and worked on our 259 year old farmhouse!

I painted and plastered walls, ceilings, woodwork etc. and Caroline meticulously restored the window sashes one at a time! We are still not finished with the whole project (A few windows remain) but have made a significant dent in the work…We are tired but the house looks great and we can now focus on our Spring Farm tasks ahead and Brewery Silvaticus Opening in June!

Cheers for now and enjoy the photos!

Here’s a view of Gwen’s new room…

We had our original pine floors redone for the “Center Hall” or the former front Door area of our Center Hall Colonial

And Finally, the Master Bedroom!

  1. The floors look amazing. So awesome that you are taking the time, and putting in so much work, to restore the natural beauty of that home. Congrats from a fellow Merrimac-ian.
